Over the weekend of January 13th, a few of Judo Manitoba Team members competed at the 2024 Elite 8 Nationals that was held in Edmonton, AB.

The top 8 raked U18 and Seniors athletes in each weight category are invited to participate in this event.

After taking 6 months off due to a broken arm ever the summer, teammate Avery Pampolina competed in the U18 -50kg category and ended up with the Silver medal after 2 wins and a loss in the final match.
