After her first local competition she was determined to one day make the podium at nationals. She competed nationally for Judo Manitoba, winning medals at tournaments like Quebec, Ontario and Pacific Open and finally reached her goal of being on the podium at nationals when she placed 3rd in 2014 and again in 2018.

She no longer competes and enjoys providing a supportive role in coaching with all levels of athletes.
